* Los Angeles Philharmonic needs volunteers for the Hollywood Bowl in the Bowl Store, the InfoCenter and the Edmund D. Edelman Hollywood Bowl Museum. A meeting for prospective volunteers will be held May 5 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Patio Restaurant. Information: (323) 850-2165.

* KOREH L.A., formed by the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, needs volunteers to help Los Angeles public school students who are not reading at grade level for one hour a week during the school year.
