Victim of Sidewalk Shooting Is Identified

A man found shot to death Wednesday night on a South Los Angeles sidewalk has been identified by police as Gilberto Sosa Carranza, authorities said.
The 34-year-old Lynwood man was found at 7:09 p.m. in the 9600 block of South Alameda Street, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy said.
