‘Friendship Project’ Performances to Benefit Bone Marrow Group
The Drama Station theater company of Japan will present its internationally touring production of “Yu-Jo (Friendship Project),” today at 2 and 7 p.m. and tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Japan America Theatre, 244 S. San Pedro St., in L.A.’s Little Tokyo.
The play, a benefit for Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches, was inspired by the true story of American teenagers who shaved their heads to show support for a friend who lost his hair during treatment for leukemia.
Ticket are $15 to $30.
