Funeral Scheduled for Slain Football Player
Funeral services will be held Saturday for Kevin Morris, the Antelope Valley College football player shot and killed at a Norwalk party earlier this week.
Team member Jerome Wright was also shot, but is reported to be in good condition at an undisclosed hospital. He was hit by three bullets, one of which caused serious damage to the bone in his left forearm, authorities said.
Services for Morris are scheduled for 10 a.m. at Desert Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 1101 E. Ave. I, Lancaster.
