Infonet Services Takes Itself Off the Market

Infonet Services Corp., the communications-services provider that announced in March it was considering a sale of the company, said it’s taking itself off the market after failing to get any suitable bids.
Separately, the El Segundo-based company said a major shareholder, KPN Telecom, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 54.4 million shares of the company’s stock.
Infonet shares fell 61 cents to $2.45 on the New York Stock Exchange.
