Industry Veteran Ron Fair Named Head of A&M; Records
Veteran record executive Ron Fair has been named president of A&M; Records. Fair, formerly senior vice president of artists and repertoire at RCA Records, will fill a job that has been vacant since 1999, when A&M; was folded into Universal Music Group’s Interscope division as part of Universal’s merger with PolyGram. At RCA, Fair was credited with signing pop sensation Christina Aguilera.

David Fox has joined Business Valuation Services, a valuation, litigation and financial advisory firm, as director of its new Los Angeles office. Fox formerly was a senior manager in forensic services at KPMG. Business Valuation is based in Dallas.

Circa Information Technologies Inc. has promoted Thomas J. White Jr. to president of the Downey-based software development company. White has been with the company since 1977, serving in various positions and helping develop its main software products.

Robert Harris has been named vice president of Business Bank of California’s small-business lending department. Harris previously served as vice president in the small-business lending divisions at Heller Financial and First Union Bank. Business Bank, based in San Bernardino, operates eight branches in the Inland Empire.
