Loyal Opposition
* What an empty charade the two-party system has become! You would think that the Democrats, having been cheated out of the presidency and having achieved virtual parity in Congress, would mount a spirited opposition to the Bush agenda; instead they roll over and play dead.
The next time around it won’t be so easy to hoodwink people into holding their noses and voting Democratic, thus throwing away a rare opportunity to vote for honest representation with Ralph Nader.
