Reno Synagogue Is Attacked Again

From Times Wire Reports

A Reno synagogue that was the target of a firebomb 13 months ago was attacked again. Police said an unspecified fuel was sprayed at the front door of Temple Emanu El and set on fire. The blaze was quickly extinguished after it scorched the wooden door. Investigators said the fire was considered both arson-caused and a hate crime. No arrests have been made. Last month, five self-proclaimed white supremacists who admitted that they tried to firebomb the synagogue in November 1999 were sentenced to prison. In that attack, a concrete-weighted liter soda bottle was tossed at an 8-foot window, followed by a Molotov cocktail. But the window didn’t break and the bomb only scorched the sidewalk.
