SEASON AT A GLANCE: Acheatel, a returning All-City Section pitcher, is 1-1 with a 2.00 earned-run average in 14 innings for the Conquistadores (5-2). Last season, he pitched five shutout innings in the City Championship game against Kennedy at Dodger Stadium. El Camino Real lost, 3-2. He was 9-4 with a 2.65 ERA.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Acheatel hit what proved to be the winning home run in the fourth inning and struck out the side in the seventh to earn a save in a 4-3 victory over top-ranked Kennedy. The next day, he picked up a save in a 6-5 victory over San Fernando.
