Clarion Hotel to Become a Marriott
From Times Staff Reports
The Clarion Ventura Beach Hotel will become part of the Marriott chain early next year, real estate officials said Thursday.
Olympus Real Estate Partners purchased the 284-room hotel out of bankruptcy earlier this week for an undisclosed amount. The Dallas-based firm has investments in 55 hotels and resorts nationwide.
The hotel, on Harbor Boulevard between the shore and the Ventura Freeway, was built in 1987 and became a Clarion in 2000.
