Montreal 1, Florida 0--Karl Dykhuis scored 3:55 into overtime with Montreal’s 45th shot to give the Canadiens a win at Montreal.
Pittsburgh 1, New York Rangers 0--Jan Hrdina scored with 18.5 seconds left in overtime at Pittsburgh, giving the Penguins a victory and snapping the Rangers’ six-game winning streak.
Nashville 3, Columbus 2--The Predators’ Greg Johnson scored two goals, including the game-winner, at Nashville.
Ottawa 2, Toronto 1--Defenseman Karel Rachunek scored with 4.8 seconds left in overtime to lift the Senators at Ottawa.
Tampa Bay, Carolina 0--Ben Clymer scored the go-ahead goal with 7:52 left in the third period, and Nikolai Khabibulin recorded his 23rd career shutout at Tampa Bay.
Dallas 3, San Jose 2--Richard Matvichuk scored his first goal of the season 50 seconds into overtime as the Stars won at San Jose.
Edmonton 2, Vancouver 2--Brendan Morrison had a goal and an assist for the Canucks and Janne Niinimaa had two assists for the Oilers in the tie at Vancouver.
