2 Die in Car That Caught Fire in Collision

A fiery traffic crash late Monday left two people dead and two injured, police said.
The incident happened about 9:45 p.m. when a Ford Mustang and a Dodge Caravan apparently collided near Del Obispo and Quail Run, said Lt. Greg Russell, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The Caravan caught fire, killing its two occupants, an officer at the scene said.
Two women in the Mustang were taken to a hospital, the officer said. Their condition was not available.
The incident is under investigation, he said.
