Power Grid Managers Lose Bid to Drop Suit

Duke Energy Corp.’s lawsuit accusing California’s power-grid manager of violating its rules by delivering power to insolvent utilities may proceed, a federal judge ruled.

The California Independent System Operator and California’s Department of Water Resources, also a defendant, failed to persuade U.S. District Judge Terry Hatter in Los Angeles to dismiss the suit.
