Man Killed in Freeway Accident Is Identified
From Times Staff Reports
A man killed in a fiery freeway crash in Glendale was identified Tuesday as Edmund Mo, 54, of Monrovia.
Mo was killed Monday night when the Volvo in which he was a passenger experienced mechanical trouble and stopped in the carpool lane of the westbound Ventura Freeway at Central Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Rosa Ray said.
A Buick rear-ended the Volvo, which burst into flames. Mo was sitting in the back seat and died at the scene, Ray said.
The drivers of both cars and a passenger in the Buick were treated for minor injuries.
