Spain Ballet Cancels First Performance
The National Ballet of Spain canceled its opening performance in its current three-city U.S. tour Wednesday, two hours before curtain time at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills.
According to Vanessa Kromer, of Nederlander Concerts, the cancellation was caused by “unforeseen technical conditions” regarding equipment. The rest of the engagement, with performances today through Sunday, will go on as scheduled, with an added matinee Saturday at 2 p.m.
Tickets for Wednesday night can be exchanged at point of purchase for any other performance during the engagement, Kromer said.
