Rwanda Genocide Trial Adjourned Until Sept.
From Times Wire Reports
A U.N. tribunal in Arusha, Tanzania, adjourned until September the trial of a man accused of masterminding the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, officials said.
The adjournment will give the defense time to receive key documents from the prosecution, including French translations of the prosecution’s pretrial brief and the report of the first witness.
Col. Theoneste Bagosora and three co-defendants are charged with genocide, crimes against humanity and rape.
