J.D. Power Moving to New Headquarters
J.D. Power & Associates, the international marketing research firm based in Agoura Hills, is moving its world headquarters up the road to Thousand Oaks.
This weekend the company will begin shifting about 350 workers to a 93,000-square-foot, three-story building at 2625 Townsgate Road in the Westlake section of the city. About 100 of those employees now work at a facility in Newbury Park and will move later this month.
“It doesn’t mean a lot more jobs,” said Gary Wartik, the city’s manager of economic development.
“What it does is give the company more growing room. And as they grow, that’s going to benefit everyone in the Conejo Valley,” Wartik said.
J.D. Power, best known for its automotive industry consumer satisfaction surveys, has another California office in Orange and other offices in Japan, Canada, Singapore, England and Australia.
