Delta Air Lines plans to offer the first nonstop service between Palm Springs and Atlanta starting Dec. 1. It will offer one flight per day on 154-passenger B-737-800 jets seasonally through April 30.... Horizon Air will offer the first nonstop jet service between LAX and Bozeman/Big Sky, Mont., starting Dec. 21. The seasonal service runs through March 22. Round-trip fares begin at $258. The sale is expected to close in the fall.... German Railroads last week began service on a high-speed rail line that cuts travel time between Frankfurt and Cologne from two hours, 14 minutes to a little more than an hour.
