Man Held on Suspicion of Attempted Kidnap
Fullerton police arrested a man early Saturday on suspicion of trying to kidnap two boys from a junior high school the day before, authorities said.
Police said Kevin Kim, 22, of Fullerton called the boys to his car and ordered them in as Parks Junior High let out for the day, Lt. Doug Cave said. When they refused, Kim hit one and tried to pull the other into the car by his shirt, Cave said.
Parents and teachers, alerted by the boys’ screams, recorded the car’s license number, which police used to find Kim about 1:30 a.m.
