What Are You Drinking?
“The 2000 Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha ‘Campo de Borja.’ Spanish Grenache is very black, just incredible. The old Grenache in California--I don’t think anyone knows if it’s the clone or the way it’s grown--is nice and fruity but lacks color and tannin depth. This wine is a great example of some of the black, very dark, intense Grenache that we get from the south of France. This is another example of a well-done European Grenache.”
