Record vs. Fever--1-0.

Update--Los Angeles is looking for its fourth consecutive win while trying to keep in front of Houston and Utah in the Western Conference. The Sparks have been off since a sloppy 73-69 victory Wednesday over Portland. Mwadi Mabika has moved into the league’s top 10 in scoring; she is eighth at 16.1 points a game. Lisa Leslie (16.2) is seventh. Indiana has won its last two, and is tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference. Those who have not seen Fever forward Tamika Catchings play should take a look at the WNBA’s leading candidate for rookie of the year. Not only is Catchings leading the league in scoring (18.0) and collecting 8.2 rebounds, she also works hard on the defensive end. In Indiana’s 73-63 victory over Minnesota on Friday, Catchings tied the league record with nine steals.
