3 Students Might Be Charged in Protests

Three San Francisco State students could face criminal charges pending a review of their actions during competing May 7 rallies, a university spokeswoman said.
Campus police forwarded the case Thursday to San Francisco Deputy Dist. Atty. Sam Totah, said spokeswoman Ligeia Polidora.
A male student could face charges of vandalism and committing a hate crime for allegedly tearing down an Israeli flag and stomping on it during a pro-Palestinian demonstration.
