Bosnian Serb Guilty of Murdering 5 Muslims

A U.N. war crimes tribunal convicted a Bosnian Serb of murdering five men because they were Muslims, and it sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
Mitar Vasiljevic, 48, who joined a brutal paramilitary group known for atrocities during the 1992-95 war, was acquitted of eight other counts of war crimes by the tribunal in The Hague.
Vasiljevic was found guilty of being part of a squad that killed the five on June 7, 1992.
