San Francisco (0-2) at UC Santa Barbara (1-2), 7 p.m., KEYT-AM (1350) -- In losses to Seton Hall and Nevada, the Dons shot an average of 36% from the field. Santa Barbara was as cold as ice in its first two losses at the Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska, but was blistering from the field in an 84-69 victory over winless Centenary, making 27 of 42 field goal attempts.
San Diego (2-0) at UC Riverside (0-1), 7 p.m. -- It’s another tough one for Riverside, which was soundly defeated by USC, 81-68. San Diego beat No. 14 UCLA, 86-81, in overtime Tuesday. Jason Keep scored 30 points and had 16 rebounds as San Diego out-rebounded the Bruins, 49-31.

UC Irvine (0-2) at Pepperdine (0-1), 7:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net 2, KPLS (830, delayed 8:30 p.m.) -- Pepperdine will play its first game without center Will Kimble, who has left the team after being diagnosed with a heart condition. Senior forward Boomer Brazzle, who’s generously listed as 6-7, could move to center. The Waves have won 54 of their last 62 games at Firestone Fieldhouse. Seven-foot center Adam Parada averages 12.5 points for the Anteaters but has struggled with foul trouble.

WOMEN
UCLA (1-1) vs. Northwestern State (1-0) at Nevada Las Vegas tournament, 1:30 p.m., KBET (850), KTDD (1350) -- The Bruins and Lady Demons meet for the first time as two of the four teams playing in the UNLV weekend tournament. UCLA is coming off a 106-43 victory against Sacramento State, its largest margin of victory since defeating UC Santa Barbara, 94-31, in 1984. Northwestern State defeated Texas A&M;, 65-59, in its season opener Monday, its first victory over a Big 12 team since 1988.
