Judicial Candidate’s Background Is Relevant
Re “O.C. Judge Race Takes 2nd Ugly Turn,” Oct. 15:
Given the high volume of white-collar crime cases that winds through O.C. courts, a judicial candidate’s background is extremely relevant. The last thing the bench needs is a judge who may have indulged in financial chicanery.
If the facts as stated are true, Patrick and Jeannette McDaniel as well as John Adams’ own parents were victims of Adams’ pecuniary misbehavior and moral bankruptcy. Our judiciary system does not need a fox watching the henhouse.
