Fields Leads Cowboys, 45-10
STILLWATER, Okla. — Josh Fields threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score and Rashaun Woods caught nine passes for 175 yards in Oklahoma State’s 45-10 victory over Northern Iowa on Saturday night.
Darrent Williams returned the first of his two interceptions 29 yards for the go-ahead touchdown as Oklahoma State (1-1) capitalized on five Northern Iowa turnovers to rout the Division I-AA Panthers (1-1).
Fields, making his second career start, shook off a first-quarter interception at the Panthers’ 2 to complete 22 of 33 passes for 261 yards.
He had touchdown passes of one and six yards and scored on a one-yard run as the Cowboys rebounded from their opening loss to Louisiana Tech.
