Suspect Sought in String of Bank Robberies
Police and FBI agents are looking for a man believed to be responsible for as many as six bank robberies in Orange County since July 15.
The man--described as Asian, in his 20s, about 5 feet 4, 130 pounds with short black hair and dark eyes--is suspected of committing a string of robberies in Anaheim, Costa Mesa and Irvine.
In the most recent incident, he entered the Wells Fargo bank in the 4800 block of Barranca Parkway in Irvine about 2 p.m. Saturday. Anyone with information on the robberies or the suspect is asked to contact FBI Investigator Joe Homs at (310) 477-6565 or Irvine Police Det. Mike Li, (949) 724-7244.
