Update -- The Avengers are 0-3 against the Rattlers at Staples Center. The Avengers scored their only victory over Arizona in 2001 when quarterback Tony Graziani replaced Todd Marinovich and passed for five touchdowns in a 54-48 overtime win. The Avengers are riding a five-game winning streak after defeating Carolina on April 4. Arizona quarterback Sherdrick Bonner, from Cal State Northridge, has passed for 1,920 yards and 46 touchdowns. Wide receiver/linebacker Hunkie Cooper has twice been named the Arena league’s most valuable player and Ironman.
