Probably not. Why would he want to make a commitment to his loyal fans the way the Mighty Ducks’ management has done when he can concentrate on getting Mike Tyson to fight at the Staples Center and book some meaningless concerts instead?

What does it say about the Kings’ organization when a third-year expansion team in its first playoff series (Minnesota Wild) defeats the mighty Colorado Avalanche in Denver (in overtime of Game 7, no less) a week after the Mighty Ducks swept the vaunted Detroit Red Wings? It says that Mickey Mouse has left the Pond for more suitable surroundings: Staples Center.
