4 Disabled Adults Injured in Van Accident

A van carrying mentally disabled adults struck a parked pickup truck in Banning on Monday, injuring the four passengers and the driver, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 4:15 p.m. on the 5800 block of West Wilson Street, said Commander Marshall Palmer of the Banning Police Department.
The five people were taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley and treated for minor to moderate injuries, Palmer said. The circumstances of the accident were not known, Palmer said.
