Not Quite a Dream Matchup This Time

Catchmeinyourdreams, who defeated reigning world co-champion Whosleavingwho earlier this year, won’t have to face that level of competition in tonight’s $15,000 Silver Strand Handicap.

A 4-year-old Utah-bred gelding trained by Chris O’Dell for owner Kirk Goodfellow, Catchmeinyourdreams was 25-1 when he upset Whosleavingwho in the California Challenge Championship May 31.

Whosleavingwho, who won the Vessels Maturity a week ago, turned the tables less than a month later in the Spencer Childers, but Catchmeinyourdreams ran well again. He finished second, half a length ahead of Bobcat Bob.
