Information About Sex Offenders Available
From Staff and Wire Reports
Police on Monday launched an Internet program and data base allowing residents to look up the number -- and the identities -- of serious sex offenders in their neighborhood.
After learning the number at www.Garden-Grove.org, said department spokesman Lt. Mike Handfield, people can view offenders’ pictures and names at the police station. Though the service is free, Handfield said, participants must schedule appointments at (714) 741-5953.
