From Times Wire Reports

Flooding in central Kentucky swept a home into a creek, killing at least one person, as a heavy storm felled trees and downed power lines.

Frankfort Fire Lt. Dan Shouse said one body had been recovered from a home that washed down Stony Creek. Helicopters and search dogs were helping search for other possible victims, Shouse said.

Storms swept through central Kentucky packing large hail and lightning, and were moving south, the National Weather Service reported.
