Said Enough Finds Way to Winner’s Circle

After going a long time between victories, Said Enough has found a home at this track.

The 8-year-old gelding, who was bred in New Jersey, has won four in a row for owner-trainer Erin Anderson, and he’ll try for another victory in tonight’s seventh, an 870-yard race for $2,500 claimers.

Said Enough hasn’t come close to losing since finishing fourth in his first Los Alamitos appearance May 16. He has improved his record to 13 victories in 72 starts and boosted his earnings to more than $247,000.

All four of Said Enough’s victories this year have come at 4 1/2 furlongs, so it’ll be interesting to see how he copes with the shorter trip as he takes on a field that includes, besides other thoroughbreds, quarter horses and an appaloosa.
