In Defense of the New Huntington Council
Re “A Variety of Woes in Huntington Beach” letter by Tim Chambers, Aug. 17:
We believe this Rancho Santa Margarita resident and critic of Huntington Beach City Council misses the mark.
The current City Council inherited a host of difficult issues. It is not a good ol’ boy system! Quite to the contrary, the citizens voted those ol’ boys out.
This City Council is composed of dedicated, competent, citizen representatives that serve this community.
Perhaps Chambers should attend some council meetings and see firsthand the hard work and dedication of the Huntington Beach council.
