Re “Infected PCs Await Orders From Hacker,” Aug 22: First we had the Blaster worm that the business and computer industries are still attempting to control. Then came the failure of energy deregulation that produced blackouts in the East. Now we have the SoBig virus that has caused rail service and airline ticket-counter delays.

We don’t need no stinking Al Qaeda -- we’re going to do it to ourselves.
