Citizens Group Seeks to Recall 2 Councilmen

A group of local residents says it will renew efforts to recall two City Council members.
Bakersfield Citizens for Local Control has issued a flier accusing council members Harold Hanson and Mark Salvaggio of a conflict of interest after they approved a rate increase for Mayor Harvey Hall’s ambulance company. The group restarted its campaign after an initial attempt to recall Hanson failed for lack of valid signatures.
