Peace party set for Jerry Rubin
Alliance for Survival will present a “60th Birthday Peace Party and Concert” for peace activist Jerry Rubin on Thursday from 7 p.m. to midnight at the 14 Below club, 14th Street and Santa Monica Boulevard in Santa Monica.
The event will feature KPFK-FM host Michael Benner as emcee, the Beatles tribute performance Imagine, musicians, comedians, peace and environmental speakers, and others.
Proceeds will benefit a planned Santa Monica Youth Commission. Admission is $5-$10. Information: (310) 399-1000.
