Houston says Brown hit her; charges weighed
Pop singer Whitney Houston had a 1-inch bruise on her cheek and a cut upper lip when officers responded to a call from her home in Alpharetta, Ga., this week, and as of Calendar Weekend’s press time Wednesday, police were considering whether to pursue charges against her husband, singer Bobby Brown.
Houston told officers that Brown “confronted” her when she returned home Sunday night and hit the left side of her face with an open right hand. He then went to the airport for a flight to L.A., the Fulton County Police report said.
Police said they were trying to reach Brown to get his side of the story.
