Grand Jury Opens Probe of Deadly Nightclub Fire

A grand jury opened an investigation into the nightclub inferno at the Station that killed 97 people, and members of the heavy metal group whose pyrotechnics are suspected of starting the fire could testify as early as today.
Most of the session in East Greenwich was devoted to preliminary talks between prosecutors and lawyers for the band, Great White, according to two sources.
