Plowshares Into Swords
Re “New Warship’s Bow May Have WTC Steel,” Dec. 29: The prophet Isaiah will be turning over in his grave if he hears of the Navy’s latest plans for recycling some of the twisted steel from the World Trade Center. Its plan is to use it in the new amphibious assault ship New York. While Isaiah would have us beat our swords into plowshares, the Navy’s plan is to beat our plowshares into swords.
