Officials Identify Car-Crash Victim
From Times Staff Reports
Authorities Saturday identified a Huntington Beach woman killed in a traffic accident the day before as Mary Stinson, 40.
Stinson lost control of her automobile, careening through a stop sign and into a retaining wall, about 4 p.m. Friday at Ward Street and Yorktown Avenue, said supervising deputy coroner Rod Thomas.
Investigators think Stinson may have had a medical emergency, since the lack of skid marks indicate she did not attempt to stop.
