GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Chinyere Ibekwe, Carson: Had 12 points, 18 rebounds and five blocked shots in a 45-31 victory over Chatsworth.
Mandy Bible, Santa Barbara San Marcos: Scored 28 points in a 66-54 victory over Ojai Nordhoff.
Stephanie Duda, Los Alamitos: Had 22 points and 19 rebounds in a 51-48 victory over Huntington Beach.
BOYS’ SOCCER
Aaron Negrete, Oxnard Channel Islands: Made 10 saves in a 3-1 victory over Oxnard Rio Mesa. Teammate Edgar Hernandez scored twice.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
Lindsey Watts, Anaheim Esperanza: Scored both goals for No. 7 Esperanza, including the game-winner in the 60th minute, in a 2-1 victory over No. 5 Huntington Beach Edison.
Kristin Cummins, San Clemente: Broke a 1-1 tie with a goal in the 54th minute to give unranked San Clemente a 2-1 victory over No. 3 Mission Viejo Capistrano Valley. Teammate Patricia Gialamas scored on a penalty kick three minutes earlier.
GIRLS’ WATER POLO
Lauren Yum, Beverly Hills: Had six goals, nine steals and two assists in a 9-5 victory over Pasadena.
Megan Boniface, Arroyo Grande: Had 13 saves in a 9-5 victory over San Luis Obispo.
