Gay themes give Bravo a lift

A pair of gay-themed programs helped propel Bravo to what the cable network said was its highest-rated prime-time lineup in history Tuesday.
The premiere of the dating show “Boy Meets Boy” drew an audience of about 1.6 million, Bravo reported Wednesday. It was followed by the fourth installment of the makeover series “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” which, after a showing on NBC, attracted about 2.8 million viewers -- up almost 75% from the previous week to rank as Bravo’s largest audience ever.
