A Canadian Connection for Prescription Drugs
Re “Congress on Verge of Remaking Medicare,” June 11: I nearly lost my breakfast after reading of the plan to revamp Medicare. There is one simple way to reduce the cost of drugs for the elderly or for anyone else without drug insurance. My husband and I order our drugs by mail from Canada, and we pay anywhere from 20% to 60% less than the cost in the U.S. Drug companies must contribute too much to the politicians to expect this price reduction to happen here.
