Senate OKs Leader for Air Force Academy

The Senate approved the nomination of Lt. Gen. John W. Rosa to lead changes at the scandal-plagued Air Force Academy.
Rosa’s and other officer nominations were delayed by Sen. Larry E. Craig (R-Idaho), who wanted the Air Force to add four air transport planes at an Idaho Air National Guard base.
Craig released his hold, citing commitments from the White House to settle the issue.
