Nesting with pals at Falcon

There’s no place like home, homies. I mean, the things you learn on the scene in a night are pretty remarkable, like how Falcon co-owner Keith McCarthy worked his way through college at the Hard Rock Cafe before landing gigs at the Olive and Jones. Now, he’s the face of Falcon, and there’s no better place to spend a Friday night among friends. The white-hot restaurant combines the feel of old Hollywood with subtle modern twists, and quite simply, its design is sublime. We hear the real credit goes to architects Alice Kimm and John Friedman, who just won a design award for their work at the Brig bar in Venice. Kudos.... While hanging at Falcon, I ran into Cedd Moses, son of artist Ed Moses, who tells me he recently renovated C-Bar into a new spot called Cobra Lily. Moses, who also co-owns Liquid Kitty and the 4100 bar, has his eye on downtown. And by the by, his wife Pamela just opened the Bead Boutique, a chic new bead store on Third Street.

Family- friendly frenzy

Ice-T and Body Count tore up the Key Club on Saturday, and good thing it’s an all-ages venue. Lil’ Ice, the O.G.’s 11-year-old son, was stage-diving till 2 a.m..... Dined with bicoastal colorist Steven Tapp at Prive’s uber-hot Buddha Garden, a raw food vegan eatery adjacent to the salon. We hear Edward Norton favors the Coco Mate tea while Darren Starr always orders the Long Life cocktail, a cranberry and flaxseed elixir. Ommm.
