Louisiana Tech Advances

TULSA, Okla. — Cheryl Ford scored 21 points as the sixth-ranked Louisiana Tech women’s basketball team beat Hawaii, 85-58, Friday to advance to the Western Athletic Conference tournament title game.
The Lady Techsters (28-2) were in control throughout, but Hawaii (14-13) shut down Ford until the second half, when she scored 17 points.
The victory was the 26th in a row for the Lady Techsters, who have the longest winning streak in the country. They will play Fresno State in today’s final. Fresno State beat Southern Methodist, 81-67.
