Keeping Sex Offenders in Prison Is His Solution

Re “Forgive and Forget Sex Offenders? Not a Chance,” March 7:

Certainly no one wants to live next door to a sex offender. I know we don’t. But do you want to live near a murderer or armed robber? If not, then why don’t they have to register with the police and publish their names and addresses on the Internet? The key element of the debate is where we draw the line. Should a list of crimes committed by the residents be posted on every front door? That’s ridiculous. My solution: Never let sex offenders out of prison. Then we’ll all know where they are.
