Police Are Urged to Step Up Hunt for Killer

Hundreds of people rallied on the Capitol steps in Baton Rouge, calling on authorities to dedicate more resources to catching a serial killer who has murdered at least four women. The victims’ survivors and others said they suspect the killer may also have murdered Carrie Yoder, 26, a Louisiana State University student whose body was found last week.
People passed out pictures of slain loved ones, a sketch of a man police have called a “person of interest” in the killings and fliers with the hotline number for tips in the case.
